The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery proudly honors the life and legacy of Dr. George P. Noon through the George P. Noon, MD Endowed Chair of Surgery.

Dr. Noon was a renowned surgeon, visionary educator, and pioneering leader whose work profoundly advanced cardiovascular surgery and transplantation medicine. His dedication to excellence shaped generations of surgeons and influenced the evolution of modern cardiothoracic transplantation and circulatory support.

The endowed chair supports the department’s mission to advance innovation, clinical excellence, research, and education within the Division of Cardiothoracic Transplantation and Circulatory Support.

This gift will support the betterment of medicine and its future.
