In memory of Dr. John F. Anderson, we invite you to honor his remarkable career and legacy with a gift to the Dr. John F. and Rachel P. Anderson Endowed Fund at Baylor College of Medicine. This fund, supporting Baylor’s faculty and student work in global health, is emblematic of Dr. Anderson’s profession as a physician and humanitarian.
John was educated at Baylor University (1971) and Baylor College of Medicine (1973), and practiced as a vascular surgeon for many years, before becoming Chief Medical Officer at Baylor University Medical Center in 1995. He served on medical missions abroad, including in India and Ghana.
Serving as BCM Trustee since 2011 and co-chair of the Global Committee of the Board, Dr. Anderson loved being a Baylor Trustee and supporting Baylor’s global mission by increasing access to healthcare in the most underserved communities of the United States and worldwide. By contributing to this endowed fund, you ensure that his legacy of excellence in medicine and care for the needs of fellow global citizens lives on.
