Aimee Langley, M.S. ’11, D.N.P. ’13, CRNA, CHSE is being honored by Baylor College of Medicine with this year's Young Alumna Award – School of Health Professions. Baylor’s annual Alumni Awards program recognizes alumni and faculty for excellence in research, teaching and patient care.
As part of the awards program, our honorees identify an area of the College they would like to highlight for support. Dr. Aimee Langley, has been integral to Baylor College of Medicine since 2009, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia and embodying Baylor's core values of respect, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and excellence. As the associate director of the DNP – Nurse Anesthesia Program and coordinator of the DNP Simulation Center, she has mentored over 40 students and received multiple awards, including the Norton Rose Fulbright Awards and SHP Teaching Excellence Awards. Dr. Langley is also actively involved in Baylor’s Faculty Senate, IPC Committee, and Alumni Executive Committee, and co-coordinates the anesthesia curriculum for the Global Surgery Track in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery.
