Support Baylor Research Advocates for Student Scientists
BRASS is an enthusiastic volunteer organization that supports the development of research students in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences of Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Our scholars train with BCM’s distinguished scientists to find cures for cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease and other illnesses. Through advocacy, fundraising and mentorship, BRASS members give these students the support needed to one day be recognized among the best minds in medicine.
Since 1995, BRASS has helped recruit many of the nation’s top students to BCM by offering scholarships, research funding and a network of Houston community leaders who welcome these exemplary graduate students into their circle of family, cultural, civic and social activities. BRASS members encourage scholars to share their zeal for biomedical research with others and participate in outreach programs that elevate the next generation of young scholars.
